To meet customers where they are, Capital One activated at the National Auto Dealers Association in Dallas, Texas. Capital One enlisted No Hot Ashes to design, produce, and build a dynamic and immersive event.

We created a multi-day content strategy to connect with customers. Programming included live music from multi-platinum artist Weezer, enhanced by interactive projection mapping and responsive lighting.

Attendees were also hosted at a custom-built experience center, which included engaging educational content accessed via touchscreen displays, live demos, and a dedicated stage for new product announcements, keynotes, and celebrity conversations including with legendary NBA superstar, Shaquille O’Neal.

Capital One wanted to activate at multiple locations during the National Auto Dealers Association’s annual conference. They enlisted No Hot Ashes to drive design, production, and fabrication for their multi-day activation strategy.

Fusing multimedia and live programming, we sought to educate and entertain attendees on Capital One’s unique product offerings and technology.

Our approach required multiple venues across the city. The first venue was a custom branded concert space where multi-platinum artist Weezer performed for thousands of the largest auto dealers in the United States. We wanted the space to feel unique and intimate for attendees.

The experience included dynamic stage lighting, interactive projection screens, large scale LED displays, and projection mapping to welcome and customize attendee movement flow. These tactics resulted in a multi-sensory and shareable live music experience.

Across town, we designed and built the Capital One Experience Center. This activation provided interactive content for self-guided or brand ambassador-guided educational moments.

Additionally, we built-from-scratch a theater space for executive keynotes, demos, sponsored talks, and fireside chats with influencers and celebrities like legendary NBA superstar, Shaquille O’Neal.

The activations provided Capital One an opportunity to share their vision with dealers and reinforce their commitment to thinking big, starting small, and learning fast. Using cohesive branding and storytelling elements, attendees were reminded of this approach during each experience.

Throughout the event, we had social sharing moments for attendees. This amplified awareness of the event’s activities and also helped with onsite press tours.
