DRATA DRATAVERSE
Drataverse, the annual conference for emerging GRC leader Drata, started as a modest upgrade from the previous year and culminated in what attendees hailed as the "best show ever." Over an intense 8-month planning cycle, we redefined how Drata’s mission, impact, and industry influence were communicated, turning it into the event everyone couldn't stop talking about.
we partnered with our friends at The Event Nerd & transformed the mundane Pier 27 in San Francisco — from a sterile ferry terminal and customs office — into a marquee event venue, awash in Drata’s signature blue. our team designed breathtaking scenic elements for the main stage and breakout sessions, a cutting-edge product showcase, and a sponsor expo, all complemented by a series of immersive networking and meeting spaces. we even made the exterior facade a focal point, ensuring that the entire Bay Area took notice.
the result was more than just an event; it was an experience that elevated Drata’s brand and left an indelible mark on attendees, proving that Drata is a force to be reckoned with in the GRC landscape.
our task
Drataverse signals a key point of transition in Drata’s year as the company looks ahead at the industry landscape, its goals, and takes a moment to celebrate its successes. we were invited to create spaces that not only highlighted Drata’s brand with pride, but enveloped attendees in sleek branded spaces designed for a keynote presentation, photo opps, and just hanging out.
solution
we designed and built two stories worth of spaces in a blank slate venue, filled with custom branded elements like a circular bar, signage, photo moments, check in desks, and floor clings. the attendee journey culminated in a keynote stage area to host skateboarding legend tony hawk.
Drata’s top performers left Drataverse full of purpose and energy, eager to make an impact on brand performance and bottom line. it was electric.
